MMG and Art
MMG, one of Switzerland’s leading banks specializing in private wealth management since 1873, is at the forefront of promoting major art events. This commitment stems from the conviction that any heritage beyond financial assets is valuable to the community.
MMG Art Collection (Est. 2000)
Identification of influential post-war artists including: Daniel Buren, John Chamberlain, Tony Cragg, Mario Merz and Giulio Paolini.
The collection includes various mediums such as paintings, sculptures, graphics, installations, videos, and site-specific artworks (MMG Building, Lugano). MMG supports the work of the Swiss Institute in Rome and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
Foundations
Through its various foundations, MMG strives to support art, architecture, progress and financial research. Our activities encourage professional training, while exhibitions and conferences contribute to the enhancement of communication among cultures.
